Jim Binder brings his love of community and spirituality to the Board of Trustees and has agreed to chair the board following in the footsteps of Virginia Chapman who left the board and Agape Bay Area in good financial standing.
Vice Chair and Treasurer - Board of Trustees
Val Roberts has been a student of New Thought, Ancient Wisdom since 1997. She attended Unity of Walnut Creek and OCSL when Rev. Joan was the senior minister and took numerous Foundational classes at OCSL.
Senior Minister
Rev. Dr. Joan Steadman has been an ordained Agape and Centers for Spiritual Living minister since 1998. She has served as the Senior Minister of our beloved community since January 2019.
Assistant Minister
Verona serves as the Assistant Minister of Agape Bay Area, Oakland, Ca., an affiliate center of Agape International, Los Angeles. She is an Emerson Theological Institute credentialed Interfaith and Science of Mind minister.
Secretary - Board of Trustees
Yvette first came to Agape Bay Area when Rev Michael Beckwith blessed us with being a satellite community. She then officially became a member last year.

Robert Hairston aka R. Lane is a founding member of Agape Bay Area. R. Lane has been attending Agape International virtually since 2007. R. Lane is deeply committed to Spiritual practices and to maintaining a high state of consciousness for our community.

Jana is thrilled to serve her beloved Agape Bay Area as a new board member. Jana discovered New Thought and the Energy Codes in 2015 when she attended workshops by Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith and Dr. Sue Morter at Celebrate Your Life in Phoenix.
