Rev. Aikya Param is an ordained minister, who was diagnosed with a terminal condition at birth. Her mother learned how to use prayer, diet, and exercise to correct problems that came with the condition. Thanks to this early experience, she has insight into spiritual support for healing.
Through her spiritual study of Hindu scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and Upanishads, she spent years engaged with the South Asian community in the US and in India. Exposure to Sanskrit language allows appreciation of Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, and the scripture written in that language.
A writer, poet, and artist, Rev. Aikya’s poetry has been published in Oberon Poetry Magazine, Stick Figure Poetry, and the anthology Flight of a Feather by poetschoice.in. Her art has been exhibited in the Frank Bette Center for the Arts in Alameda, California.
